Please follow the below video tutorial or the following steps to configure the Welcome Section

• Go to Appearance> Customize> Home Page Settings> Welcome Section
• Select a Welcome Page. If you don’t have a page for the welcome message, create a page via Dashboard > Pages > Add New
  • The title of the page is displayed as title of welcome section
  • The featured image is displayed as the welcome section image
  • The excerpt of your page will be displayed as welcome description. If no excerpt is entered certain part of the description is taken as welcome description.
• Enter the Read More Text
• Click Publish
