Please follow the below steps to keep a background image or patterns on your website.

• Go to Appearance > Customize > Default Settings > Background Image
• Click on “Select image” button to add the background image. You can also use from the available pattern as a background image.
• Choose the image preset, position, and size.
• Check Repeat Background Image and Scroll with page option.
• Click on Publish.
