First of all, make sure you have a fresh WordPress installation before you import the demo data.
If not, you can reset your WordPress installation with a plugin like WP Reset
Then, install and activate our theme and all the recommended plugins.
After that, install and activate Rara One Click Demo Import plugin.
After the plugin is activated, follow the following steps:
- Go to Appearance> Rara Demo Import
- On the ‘Pro Theme Demo Import’ tab, click on “Import Now”. If the theme has multiple demos, select the demo you want to import. Please be patient. Importing might take a few minutes.
- After the Import is completed and successful, you will receive the following message.
Type of Errors and Solutions
1. Error Message: Warning: your server is using PHP safe mode. This means that you might experience server timeout errors.
Solution: Contact your hosting provider to increase the time for script execution.
2. Error Message: The customizer import file is not suitable for the current theme. You can only import customizer settings for the same theme or a child theme.
Solution: Contact our support team here.
3. Error Message: No correct file format. Please make sure to use the correct customizer import file.
Solution: The file may be corrupted. Please use the correct file type. If the error persists, contact our support team here.
4. Error Message: The Rara One Click Demo Import plugin requires PHP 5.3.2+ to run properly. Please contact your hosting company and ask them to update the PHP version of your site to at least PHP 5.3.2. Your current version of PHP:
