Please follow the below guidelines to configure Category Section:

• Go to Appearance> Customize> Homepage Settings>Category Section.
• Click Add Section. ( you can add as many sections as you desire.)

• Choose a category
• Choose the desired Post Excerpt Character.
• Choose category Layouts

• Click Add Section to add more categories
• Click Publish.
